Who we are
We’re Kara McLeland, Hayley Rose Maurer, and Madeleine Hicks, the brains behind Deep Strange.
Rooted in DIY theater and fringe festivals, we’ve spent over a decade making the weird and wonderful—on stage, on screen, and beyond.
From writing and directing to music, props, and production, we do it all, turning bold ideas into reality. We love pushing creative boundaries, telling stories in unexpected ways, and never taking ourselves too seriously.
